Back to reality, the holiday weekend is over!

11/28
Our new house in Mesa, AZ
I sure hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving.  We sure did.  Our neighbors came over like expected and we even had an extra guest.  We invited another neighbor over (Mr Paul) who is always alone, poor guy.  I suggested to Adam he may want to see if he's doing anything for Thanksgiving and sure enough he wasn't.  So we ate big then got our drink on!  The next day we spent 4 hours in the front yard bagging leaves, what a job that was lol there were a TON.  I wasn't hung over, but tired, so that was all that got done on Friday.  Saturday we a nice day as well.  I had to mail off some purses I sold on EBay.  The post office was a freakin mad house, I hate that standing in line shit... which is why I hate black Friday.  Although that is the best day of the year to get the deals you want, anyway... after that we walked the dogs and went to the shooting range.  I love shooting my 9mm, makes me feel like I'm getting "it" off my chest.  Whatever "it" is for that day.  Afterwards we came home and ate some dinner, bundled up and headed to the holiday lights parade.  It was short but Bella loved it.  Today (Sunday) my brother and sister in law came up from Anthem.  It was so nice to see them both.  My brother is looking for work down here while he's visiting.  I know everyone is looking forward to Jessie coming back to Colorado, but I really hope he finds work and comes out here.  I am pretty sure the only reason she wants to go back to Colorado is b/c of Thad.  Other than that, what's not to love here?  Her family is all here, including us, plus the weather is unbeatable lol ... We'll see what happens, I wont get my hopes up too high.  So here I sit, Adam & Bella are watching Horton Hears a Who & I'm blogging.  Lame I know lol.
I am looking soooooo much forward to getting to Mesa in 3 weeks.  I can't wait to get to the big city.  Prescott is ok, but very much either old people or illegals & we all know how I feel about both!  There is so much more to do in the Valley, and the weather is AWESOME!  I love the heat, I'll take heat any day over cold.  Once I start school (Jan 19th) I'm hoping to make some freakin friends.  I'm not going to lie I get pretty lonely in the friend department.  Julie is visiting on Dec 29-Jan 1 so I'm pretty excited about that... but I need AZ friends lol, ones I can see regularly.  So with 4-5 years of school ahead of me I'm hoping to meet some people my age lol not 18 like a lot of the kids I saw on campus lol.  I know once I am in school and have something to do with myself, this stupid boredom thing will go away.  Not working, sitting here all day gets old!  I can only clean house so much ya know!  Adam & I have been arguing a bit because of it.  Sometimes I think I start it just for something to do lol.  Ahhh, ok... enough blabbering!  Have a GREAT week everyone!  I'm going to start packing tomorrow :)
Good night <3

The day before Thanksgiving :)

11/24
Welp.  I figured maybe I'd try out blogging.  See if maybe writing things out is maybe enjoyable or helpful?
Yesterday marked my one year anniversary of living in Arizona and with Adam.  I'm grateful that life took me here.  I am much looking forward to moving to the Valley (Phoenix area) next month.  I think it will be good for all of us.  More to do, I'll start school Jan 19th, Bella will start at a new school, the weather is almost always hot.  Not to mention no more 2 hour drives to get to the airport!  What's not to be excited about?
OH!  & did I mention I'm going "back" to school?  That's right ladies & gents, the girl that said never is saying yes!  My ultimate goal is a BA in communications.  But one step at a time right?
I've got final orders for custody with Brandon on Feb 24th 2011.  I am very much ready to get it over with.  A little bummed I have to make the trip to Colorado to attend court without Adam & Bella.  I am very confident that everything will work out for me.
Waiting on Ray & Robin to get here.  Ray's mom is in town and she's very sweet.  She just loves Adam.  Pushed me over the other night to get to him for a hug lol it was funny.  We're all doing Thanksgiving tomorrow.  Robin & I spilt the sides up for cookin and I'm very much looking forward to making MY first Thanksgiving at my home with my two favorite kids (Adam & Bella) and some great friends!
I wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving, full of yummy food, loving family & great friends!  Til next time!
